Transformers are here!

Why are you here?
We are all in process of changing to be more like God. Transformers came to earth and blended in then changed to reveal their true selves to help the world. We too look and blend in with others on earth. We need to be aware of the right times to allow our true selves to be revealed to help our world. Bible says we have been transformed II Cor 5:17 We need to start by renewing our minds. Change our thinking to what God thinks. Proverbs 23:7 Transformation begins with information. There are 2 elements that make up the mind. Memory and Imagination. Memory re-plays the past. Imagination pre-plays the future. So start today and try to catch yourself and train your thinking at least 2 times a day. Make a habit of it. Transform yourself today!

Weekend is here!

Man, the weekend just jumped up on me. Can you believe it is already September and Labor Day Weekend. Kids are going back to school. It has been quite busy for Tab and I. We have one week 'til Aliyah's first birthday party. We have been gathering and planning quite a bit. My wife and I love to be creative with planning of events, parties, etc... So this has been a very fun but busy process. I am very pumped up about Faith City - The Real Transformers starting tomorrow. Church is always a great time. Have to go celebrate Someone else's birthday today in the park. See ya later.

FULL DAY

Boy yesterday was packed full. A good day none the less. Aliyah (my daughter) decided to wake up a little sooner than daddy expected. So my day started about 1/2 hour ealier than usual. But it was good. Got to spend time with her cleaning her room. She is doing so good with putting things away. I love how obedient she is. Still very independent but obedient all the same. Then went to work and came home made us both dinner got to give her a bath and leave again to Singing Practice. She got really tired because we had to stay past her bed time. I am proud of her though she did good. She is beginning to sing along with her toys. I am watching her right now try to sing her abc's with "Elmo". Looking forward to today being just her and I and don't have to work today. Tabitha is coming home tonight. Very eager to see her face and hug her.

Daddy Daughter Days

Yesterday was the first full day and night with my 11month old daughter and her Daddy (ME). Is such sweet sorrow. My wife is gone for 3 days. But it is so sweet that i can build a bond with my daughter. I get to feed her and give her a bottle when she goes to sleep and gets up. It makes my day when i see you look into my eyes and reach her hand toward my face. I can only imagine how this is so much like God "Our Father". Everytime we look to him for peace and comfort i can just see his face light up with joy and his heart melt. Yesterday was a good day.

Perfect Praise?

I had the joy of watching my daughter Aliyah dance and clap this morning with music playing. She loves music. I find it so profound that even at such a young age (11MONTHS) children can have such a response to music. Music is so powerful. It is awesome. But i was reminded of the scripture in the bible that God states "out of the mouth of babes comes perfected praise" Matt 21:16
It is so pure and honest when children just give in to movement and enjoy music. Yet as we age we decide that it is better to not move. C'mon lets look at the babies as examples of a pure heart. God said blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Matt 5:8 Of course they rejoice and have such joy because they are seeing God. The awesome thing is we can experience the same thing. So just lighten up and enjoy the journey with God by your side. Maybe if we look for God we will see him more?

Risky Business

Had a great time at Faith City today! WHEN SHOULD WE RISK IT ALL! Great notes from my Life Coach Karl Barancik
He was really on track today with a challenge about going "All in" for the Texas Hold'em fans. There are too many times in our lives when we just sit back and spectate then wonder why our lives ARE the way the ARE? When should we risk everything? Is there ever a time when it is worth the risk? I say, YES! He pointed out a couple of great risks that pay great dividends if we would just take the risk. #1 Giving God control of our lives. Matt 11:18 Talk about risky business. I am supposed to give control and yeild my direction to a God i can't see. That, if you really think about it seems a bit risky. But i did it and have been nothing but blessed ever since. Livin the God Life. #2 Risk everything when you can share the good news about your life. Acts 1:8 BE THE LIGHT #3 Risking the comfort of the life you live for you and your familiy and began to give to others. Helping others, Serving - what a great feeling. There is something about serving others that just rings so true inside of me. I know it is an outlet that God has giving all of us. Yet so few really step outside of themselves to allow God to use them to bless or serve someone else. If you have not had this opportunity please try it and you will feel and see immediately the joy involved in participating in God's plans on earth. Lastly we were asked to ask ourselves a few questions and meditate on these answers. Who has the ability to control outcomes here on earth? God. So if we know this, Why would we choose any other path than God. Makes sense huh? Why do you think God has YOU where YOU are right now. Will you take the risk, Risking reputation, money, friends, etc... to do what you know God wants you to? If we remember JESUS himself had to ask himself that same question. Was he really willing to risk it all and die on the cross. Yes and what a great reward he recieved. What risks have you been to timid to take? What is one thing in your life worth taking a risk on and going ALL IN? Take it slow, don't try to do too much. Decide this week to take a risk and trust God. For me it was a challenge to me to really step out and meet my neighbors and BE THE LIGHT in my neighborhood. That is the step this week to interact with my surrounding neighbors and invite them to church. What will you decide to do?

Tornado or 2 in Fenton

Just wanted to let everyone know we are praying for you. Praise God "NO FATALITIES"! Minor injuries but i have not heard a report of anyone dying. That is awesome. God is such a good God. We will rebuild and it will be better than before.

Honey Do's List

Just finished up part of my Honey's To Do list. It was very rewarding. Sometimes it is difficult to put your hand to something unfamiliar, but when you do it really makes you feel like you accomplished something. I really believe that is part of God's design for men. I know we joke about Honey Do lists and stuff, but even thoughs are a part of God's design for the family. I know my wife and I enjoy doing stuff around the house to add value to where we live. She has certain desires and so do I. I really love how well my wife communicate. I truly thank God for all he has given me. Excited about church tomorrow. Faith City Sunday Service is a highlight of my week. I look forward to seeing friends and honoring God by serving in my church. Livin' the God life - nothing better than that!

New Book

Really excited about this new book i recently bought. Richest Man in Babylon. The stories in it are compelling and really keep your attention. Very simple truths about attracting wealth and generating wealth. I am pumped up about getting a chance to finish the chapter i am on. Between my new baby "Aliyah" and my awesome wife and best friend "Tabitha", i am torn when it comes to spending extra time reading. But it is well worth it to keep studying and reading to grow not only for myself but my whole family. Get to be a judge tonight at our American Family Idol Contest for Faith City. I am supposed to be simular to Simon. Should prove very entertaining.
See you soon.
